Clip VAÉ onto the wardrobe rail in your rig. Your clothes hang underneath inside a zippered cover that holds the warm air in, so a small load dries while you sit outside.

A few minutes of your time

A trip to the campground laundry costs you the walk and the wait. A load in the rig costs you the few minutes it takes to hang it up. Times above are rough and depend on the site you are parked at.

Built for rigs without a hookup

Full-timers

You live in the rig. The campground machines are busy, broken or a long walk with a wet bag. This one stays in your wardrobe and you run it whenever you like.

Weekend campers

You rinse a few things out at the site and they never dry in time to pack. The unit weighs about three pounds, so it rides along without eating your storage.

Boats, vans and small apartments

Anywhere a vented dryer will not fit. Small loads are what this handles, so it suits a galley or a studio as well as a motorhome.

How it dries

Your clothes hang still

Clip the unit onto a rail and hang your clothes beneath it on ordinary hangers. Warm air moves down and around the load inside the cover. Nothing tumbles, so knits keep their shape and printed shirts survive better than they do in a hot campground dryer.

Set the timer and leave it

Pick a mode and set the time on the front panel. The unit shuts itself off when the timer runs out. Use the remote to add time from the other end of the rig.

Folds into a cupboard

The bracket folds flat against the body and the whole thing stows in an overhead locker or under the dinette. It weighs about three pounds. Setting it up and taking it down takes a couple of minutes and no tools.

Runs off a standard outlet

It plugs into a standard 120V outlet, so shore power runs it without a vent or any wiring. One owner reports the draw is low enough to run it in a camper without tripping anything, though we have no published wattage to quote you. Keep it clear of walls and soft furnishings, crack a window, and do not run it inside a shut locker.

What owners say

Four of these are customer photos. The camper and hotel shots illustrate typical setups. None are the reviewers' own.

Customer photo: the dryer hung from a shower rail with the cover full of laundry
5 out of 5 stars.

Low amperage

We had to the coast each year to go clamming in our camp trailer because of the dampness in the air we find it very difficult for our clothes to dry. This was the ticket, we hung it in our shower and it dried our clothes each day. Amperage is low enough we could run it in our camper with no issues

Great for on the road or camping

This is a life saver. On the go, it goes with. If you are doing a little hand washing in the hotel or camping, this will dry them in no time. Need to do a bigger load and the dryer stops before items are dry, just put them in here and trun it on problem solved!

Works as advertised

The dryer worked as expected. It was easy to use. I would recommend it to anyone that doesn't have an actual dryer though you can only dry a few items at a time. I'm happy with this product.

Great for delicates

I really like this because I don't like putting some things in the dryer. This helps keep my delicate wrinkle free for the most part.

Before you buy

How long does a load take?
The manufacturer does not publish a figure, so we will not invent one. It depends on the fabric and on how well your washer spun the water out. Light things like shirts, underwear and socks finish first; denim, hoodies and towels take considerably longer and dry best with space between them on the rail. Set the timer, check, and add time if you need it.
How much can it hold?
The manufacturer rates it at up to nine garments at once, roughly a third of what a full-size dryer takes. This is a one or two person solution that replaces laundromat trips. It will not keep up with a family of five.
Will it run off my RV power?
On shore power, yes. It uses a standard 120V outlet. One owner ran it in a camper trailer and said the draw was low enough to give no trouble, but the manufacturer publishes no wattage figure, so we cannot promise it will suit your inverter or generator. If you run off battery, check your own setup before you rely on it.
Do I need a vent or a hookup?
No. It plugs into a regular outlet and releases warm, damp air into the rig. Crack a window or run the roof vent while it works, the same way you would with a drying rack. In a small van that matters more than it does in a motorhome.
What does it hang from?
The folding bracket clips over the wardrobe rail in most rigs. It also fits a shower rail, a freestanding rack or the top of a door, so you have somewhere to put it whether you are parked up or at home.
Is it safe to leave running?
The timer shuts the unit off on its own. Keep it clear of walls and soft furnishings, leave the air intake on top uncovered, and do not run it inside a shut locker. Treat it the way you would a space heater in the rig.
What does the UV light do?
It is a UV LED that runs during the cycle to help keep the inside of the cover fresh between uses. We do not make sanitising or disinfection claims for it, and it is not a substitute for washing your clothes.
When will my order arrive?
Orders ship within 6 to 9 days, in plain, unbranded outer packaging. Shipping is a $4.99 flat rate anywhere in the US. We do not ship outside the US at the moment. You will get a tracking number by email as soon as your order is on its way.
What if I want to send it back?
You have 30 days from delivery. Send it back in its original condition and packaging and we refund the purchase price less a 20% restocking fee. Return postage is paid by you. Damage that happened in transit is handled separately. See below.
What if it arrives damaged?
Damage in transit is what the shipping protection at checkout is for. If you added it, send us a photo within 7 days of delivery and we replace the unit or refund you in full, with no restocking fee and no return postage to pay. Without it we will help you raise a claim with the carrier, but we are not able to cover the loss ourselves. A unit that is faulty rather than damaged in transit is a separate thing and we will put that right either way.
